There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.

There is a perfect spot to sit by the fire pit and view the Aurora (merrie dancers) if you’re lucky x

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.

Backa is a traditional stone croft house, which has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard, boasting an airy and light interior whilst maintaining some of the original features. Situated on the west side of Yell, the house overlooks the sea and enjoys spectacular sunsets out each window.
