I booked CloudPad as a mini writing retreat for one. The location is unbeatable atop a mountain that has its own microclimate and rare animals. I spotted echidnas crossing the road at dusk. The view is mesmerising and the perfect backdrop to explore one's creativity. CloudPaid is next to the main house and very spacious. I appreciated extras such as yogurt, fruit, butter bread etc. Overall I thought it was good value and a great find.

Cath and Tim’s place is among the top Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at or heard of, and it is exceptional in almost every way. Starting with the fact that it’s immaculate. The bed is good, REALLY good with high thread-count sheets and down pillows. Towels are fluffy. Kitchen is well-equipped, knives are seriously sharp, and all the small appliances you might want are there. The location is 10 minutes from most restaurants and walking trails in Bowral and Mittagong. Parking is in front of the unit. It’s in a quiet, upscale area and the grounds are quite pretty with regular loving care from Tim. If you’re looking for a place to stay, stay here. We will return just because we would like to stay at Cath and Tim’s again.

Merrilyn was very lovely! The accommodation was clean and you can clearly see it’s been taken care of properly! Town centre is nearby, definitely walkable (approx 15mins one way) if you don’t mind walking up and down a big hill. Merrilyn welcomed us with a few Easter chocolates (we ate them all after our long coast walk), and even gave me 2 plant cuttings ☺️ Would definitely stay at this place again when we’re in Kiama!

Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds are so beautiful surrounded by amazing gardens, a dam, tennis court and beautiful animals it is a natural and peaceful sanctuary. Cath and Adrian were so lovely and hospitable upon greeting us and when we were leaving. Our space was cosy and comfortable with spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds and a lovely view outside. The location is close to Bowral shops and not too far from centennial vineyard if you are attending a concert. We would love to come back and stay again. I high recommend to anyone who wants a nice country getaway.

We stayed here with my 2 year old daughter. The place was even bigger and more comfortable than I anticipated and the best part was that there were toys there to keep my daughter happy during transitions between driving places. The place was lovely and we'll definitely book here again.

Julie is an amazing host and goes above to ensure guests are catered for. We absolutely loved having the beautiful pool in the back yard and being able to easily walk to local shops and beach.

Our stay at Jessica’s Airbnb was an incredible experience that we’ll always remember. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the mesmerizing view of the lake — a scene so beautiful it still lingers vividly in my mind. My wife and I spent two wonderful days surrounded by nature’s peaceful embrace. The rainy weather only added to the magic, casting a soft mist over the water and making the surroundings even more serene. Sitting by the window, listening to the gentle sound of the waves, felt deeply calming and meditative. It was the perfect escape from the rush of everyday life. Jessica and her partner were outstanding hosts — warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. They made sure every detail of our stay was perfect, offering helpful recommendations and making us feel completely at home. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a rejuvenating experience filled with beauty, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for this experience.

We had a lovely time staying at Jennifer’s unit, the check in was easy and the place was spotless. Perfectly situated between Wollongong and Kiama which meant we had plenty of options for places to go and things to do. Unfortunately we didn’t try out the spa, but otherwise it was a beautiful place with lovely surroundings.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable 2 days at David’s property. The flat was very comfortable, with every we needed for our stay. The location was ideal. Lovely view of the ocean, and the beach was minutes away by foot, the beach access just down the path behind the house. Shops, and cafe nearby, easy walk from the house, and Kiama centre a short drive away. A very good base for exploring this beautiful region.

A terrific location and lovely, friendly, responsive hosts, definitely recommend for those travelling to Lake Illawarra and the Shellharbour region.

We had such an awesome stay! Bobo was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and well-equipped. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again!

The location was absolutely perfect, just as described and exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was convenient and easy to access. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. they were responsive, helpful, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Arrived with a friendly welcome from Derek & enjoyed our stay in the peaceful bushland setting. A very cosy space, great shower & comfy bed. A fantastic selection for breakfast before we set off with a bon voyage from Derek. Recommend as place to stay with pets too.
