Neighborhood is walkable - two miles from the French Quarter and one mile from City Park. Across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course (Jazz Fest), corner market, Catty Shack (best tacos in NOLA), Jockey’s Pub (great neighborhood bar), and Toast Fairgrounds (amazing breakfast spot). ½ mile walk or ride to Liuzza's by the track, Swirl wine shop, Fair grinds coffee shop, Café Degas, Lola, Santa Fe Restaurant (best margaritas in town), Terranova Market and Conseco’s Market. You will have access to your private courtyard and the entire suite. We will be available for most guest check-ins and welcome you to hang with us on our porch under the large oak tree with a cool beverage. There are so many wonderful places in this city and we enjoy making recommendations based on your interests. The suite is situated across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course, where Jazz Fest is held, the corner market, and Catty Shack, which has the best tacos in NOLA. The neighborhood is close to the French Quarter and City Park. Free street parking. There are always spaces available except during Jazz Fest. During this time, you can park in our driveway. Because Florida is warm and humid year-round, we keep the thermostat at 70°F by day and 67°F at night for proper cooling and comfort. If you prefer more warmth, two space heaters are in the suite closet.

The West Wing with Saltwater Pool

The West Wing is 1 of 3 suites available at our luxury adult only home, sleeping 2 people per room. We can accommodate a total of three couples at a time, so you’re welcome to have your friends join you, it’s a great couples or single getaway! You’ll love the large salt water pool. Out place is quiet, peaceful and very private, hidden from the street. All guests must be listed on the reservation to be on the property. TVs are internet ready, must have their own account and fire stick, etc.

This Guest Suite is a large Studio Apt(360 sq ft) attached to our home. It has a private entrance, a large bath, large bedroom with pool view and private deck. Also includes a kitchenette with full size fridge, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. No Stove. Complimentary breakfast snacks including Coffee, tea and biscuits. Relax on the deck and watch the birds on the bird feeder or grab our bikes, beach chairs and head to the beach. Grill available. Please read house rules before booking.
