Spacious lodge, nicely done out. Cosy. Hot tub was a bonus. Nice walk in local woods for kids, we also did otterburn village trail which was good. Would return!

A super house for the family from 2 to 62! We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Although it blew a hoolie all the time we were there, it did not stop us playing in the garden and enjoying the hot tub. Local beaches are fantastic for kids and dog alike. A joy to find them so clean and unspoilt.

The Lodge was just perfect for our stay. It’s in a remote location but Biggar is only a 10 minute drive away with shops and pubs etc. Plenty of walks near by and things to do. The lodge itself was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay including the hot tub which was amazing after our long days walking. The beds were comfortable and it felt homely. Hazel was super communicative and helpful and just a great host! We will be back to the lodge soon 😊

Stunning location, the house has everything you need and feels very private but also in very close driving distance to local towns. A countryside escape without being in the middle of nowhere. Great set up with the hot tub and loved the games barn.

Mistwood is an incredible place to stay. Filled with exquisite furnishings and stunning eclectic pieces of artwork. Spotlessly clean and everything we wished for in a home from home in Scotland. The addition of a beautiful outdoor hot tub was sheer bliss and provided a zen time in the garden filled with birdsong. This incredible home is dog friendly which meant our little Sophie could be with us in Scotland. The garden is filled with beautiful plants and shrubs and is totally doggy secure. We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The location is fantastic and only 20 minutes drive into Edinburgh. Jane and her co hosts were brilliant at making us feel so welcome and we would highly recommend a stay at this stunning property.

Amazing porters lodge, beautiful attention to detail, very comfortable. Hot tub was an absolute treat. All the facilities to cook during your stay. Perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend with some lovely walks on the doorstep. Will absolutely be back one day!

Absolutely loved staying here, the cabin was immaculate, exactly as shown on the pictures. The garden is amazing especially for those with dogs as they have lots of free roam and fenced in at the back. The hot tub and sauna were a great addition after a long day of hiking. The host was helpful when we arrived as we went to the cabin next door so he showed us ours and showed us around, very lovely and helpful. Offered to re sort hot tub when we arrived as they said it was slightly foamy but it was absolutely perfect so we didn’t have to request that. Overall an amazing log cabin, in a peaceful location. We will definitely return 100%.

This is a great house for a multigenerational group. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. lots provided to keep everyone entertained in mixed weather - hot tub, bikes, gaming equipment, darts, table tennis, books etc. Very clean and comfortable. We were well looked after at the Pheasant Inn and Falstone Tea Rooms. Would recommend.

The snug had everything we needed for a relaxing break. There were lots of extras such as prosecco and easter eggs. It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. We were lucky to see red squirrels and food is provided in the snug to attract them onto the decking area.

We had the most perfect stay at Redwood Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we were looking for. The setting was beautiful and quiet, ideal for a getaway. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub — it was spotless, warm, and the perfect way to unwind while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for more and would absolutely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Great communication and directions to the property from the hosts. The location was beautiful and very private and the lodge itself was immaculately clean and had every appliance/kitchenware you could need. The hot tub and the fire pit were great additions to the stay. Cant recommend highly enough, we would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous family break. Peaceful site, immaculate accommodation, and excellent communication from Martin. He managed to give us an early check in without us asking, and messaged us to let us know. Hot tub was the favourite with the kids, and the dog loved the endless walks. We would love to come back, thank you

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

We had a wonderful stay at Lotte’s cabin. It was exactly as the description, yet even more tranquil than we’d imagined. The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and the view from the picture window is incredible. It’s a location we felt honoured to be able to spend a few nights in. With friendly horses as neighbours and waking up to birdsong. We enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub both nights, and had such good weather we could sit out on the deck for dinner one night. A friendly Robin joined us too! Lotte was friendly and helpful via message during our stay. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time at Cove Farm. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking about staying here. It is the perfect getaway to be surrounded by beautiful scenery and breathtaking night skies. The hot tub is such a relaxing experience and we loved getting to light our fire pit each night. We appreciated all the little details throughout the cabin, giving you everything you’ll need for a cosy stay. We plan to go back and soak in the beauty of Cove Farm.
