Scandinavia: soggiorni in baite

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had a great stay, top notch cabin, fully equipped and beautifully designed. Also enjoyed very much our private outside Jacuzzi while raining :-) 5 minute drive to Beitstolen for all of our activities and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! What an amazing getaway in a fairy tale like place by the river! House was super clean and had everything we needed, great sauna, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, grill, everything was soo good! We booked the hot tub amd had a dreamy experience under the starry sky! Hosts are very responsive and kind, place is amazing! Thank you so much!

Wir vier waren für eine Woche bei Jenny und Johan. Die Unterkunft war wunderbar und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit!!! Vor allem der Ausblick auf den Fjord, die Umgebung und unfassbare Nordlichter muss man herausheben. Der Jacuzzi auf der Terrasse war das i-Tüpfelchen. Besonders möchten wir uns für die Hinweise zur Anreise bedanken. Die Straße war durch Lawinen gesperrt und Jenny/Johan haben uns Tipps und Infos für die Umfahrung gegeben. Einfach super. Vielen Dank!

Amazing night in this wooden house. I really recommend the place and the host always reactive.

The whole stay was great and Ana was super attentive to make sure we made the most out of the fantastic cabin. Location great with loads to do and yet still in range of Hemsedal ski area! Couldn’t fault the accomodation, living area or outside facilities and Ana was a great host. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Like all the reviews below, its just amazing feeling what you get there. It is really private and remote . Nice surroundings and view from your porch is just amazing. Long story short - pictures can’t explain the feeling . Inside - i would recommend for a couple not more, pretty small inside but everything u need . Very recommended, coming back some day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cuckoo the cabin by Madara and Janis! The house was not too big but had everything we needed and more. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with high quality appliances and products, the whole place was cozy, stylish and felt right at home. Hot tub was a very nice addition as well as the pond for a refreshing swim :) Hosts were super helpful, welcoming and flexible with checking in and out, which is awesome when traveling with a baby. Thanks so much again for a wonderful stay!

Wir waren zu fünft zum Birkebeiner Lauf in der Hütte und hatten eine perfekte Zeit. In der Hütte war alles vorhanden, was wir zum Langlauf Urlaub brauchten. Mit dem Auto trotz viel Schnee gut erreichbar, trotzdem sehr ruhig und mit einem tollen Ausblick! Wir haben es sehr genossen und hoffen auch noch einmal wiederzukommen, vielleicht sogar noch einmal zum Birkebeiner...

Wunderschön gelegen, direkt bei den Huskies. Gemütliche, liebevoll eingerichtete Hütte. Das Frühstück ist sensationell und sehr zu empfehlen

The place was super clean, modern, and comfortable. The view was beautiful, and everything matched the description. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The cabin was perfect, it’s only a short drive from the musk ox trail. The hosts are super responsive and accommodating, and the sauna is such a lovely touch! No complaints.

Wow! If you're looking for a peaceful, private nature getaway, this is the place for you! We absolutely loved our weekend at Verners' cabin. It's on a hill right next to the river, you can enjoy the beautiful view and soothing sound of the river from the terrace. The cabin is simple but comfortable and cozy. We came with our dogs and they loved it, being able to run around free. There are benches and a table by the river, it's also possible to go for a swim! Would definitely come back again and highly recommend Verners' place to nature lovers looking to relax.

Llegamos tarde y el anfitrión nos esperaba, muy simpatizante, cabañita muy acogedora, preciosas vistas y muy cómoda, muy recomendable

Väga hubane majake, kaunid põlluvaated, terve pere magas nii hästi. Puhkasime väga hästi ! Majake oli väga puhas, mõnusad padjad ja tekid, ruumi oli piisavalt ja rohkem, kui enamikes sarnastes kohtades.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på Ju-than hytten! Hytten var ren, koselig og godt utstyrt med alt vi trengte for noen avslappende netter. Beliggenheten er perfekt for å nyte naturen. Tusen takk for et flott opphold!

Jag och min dotter hade jättefina dagar i Björnrike. Huset var bra disponerat och mycket smakfullt med elegant badrum och köksinredning, välutrustat och trevligt möblerat. Hit kommer vi gärna igen.

Kyseessä on saaristolaismökki ja rantasauna melkein Turun keskustassa. Erinomainen yhdistelmä :-) Mökki oli remontoitu todellakin vanhaa upeasti kunnioittaen ja kaikki meille oleellinen löytyi - astiat ja keittiötarvikkeet oikein kivat ja toimivat, sänky hotellitasoa! Saunan kiuas oli uusittu ja saunassa aikaa vietettiinkin paljon. Malitilisesti lämmittäen kosteat ja piitkät löylyt. Telkkarin puuttuminen tarkoitti meille kahdenkeskistä ihmisaikaa! Yes!

Non ci sono parole. Chalet di legno stupendo con cucina e bagno esterni molto puliti e con tutto l'essenziale. Abbiamo passato un soggiorno da sogno con sauna e vasca idromassaggio incluse. L'abitazione si trova nello stesso cortile dei proprietari che tengono un allevamento di Husky bellissimi. è possibile fare con loro molte attività tra cui trainare la slitta con gli Husky. Il tutto si trova in mezzo alla natura più incontaminata, posizione ideale per vedere l'aurora boreale.
