Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Small, quaint cottage on a private cove with a view of beautiful lake Pymatuning. Perfect for a couple or individual seeking relaxation,enjoying nature or great fishing. Close to state park for hikes and boat launch. In winter months, this is the perfect spot to warm up after ice fishing, snowmobiling or cross country skiing. In the warm months, you are close to the Gatehouse Winery, Mortals Key Brewery and Carried Away Outfitters. Our lake and surrounding country roads are very picturesque.

Firepit areas located on the deck, in the private backyard or creekside. All less than 5 mi via waterway or road to lovely, historic, Franklin, PA.

Our renovated cottage is fully equipped for your stay, conveniently located near local dining, cafes, wineries, breweries, swimming spots, disc golf, and hiking/biking trails. Feel the call of nature as you bring your boats bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, and paddleboards to enjoy all the lake has to offer.

French Creek Landing

Come and relax in this comfortable cottage that sits on the bank of scenic French Creek. The cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8 comfortably), living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (towels included), screened in front porch and a car port for your vehicle. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in front porch. During the day you can fish, kayak/canoe, wade/swim or just sit and relax watching the water go by. Sit by a campfire in the evenings enjoying the fresh country air.

Walking and biking trails at the end of the gravel driveway. Enjoy nature's sights and sounds while relaxing on the riverfront deck , roasting marshmallows over the firepit, or lounging on the bench , just steps from the water’s edge. There is a dock for those who want to be right on the river.

Out back you can dine under a tree for al fresco meals - best done in the summer, though! Stargazing year-round. Summer is my favorite with fireflies and sweet corn. Bonfires year-round, plan on s’mores!
