Sandend: soggiorni in alloggi sulla spiaggia

Village très agréable en hiver avec 2 petits magasins alimentaire ouverts bien achalandés. Restaurant ouvert qu'en fin d'après midi et le soir. Habitants bien veillant.

Crovie ist ein magischer Ort und Elaines Haus passt perfekt in dieses Dörfchen. Das Haus ist sehr sehr gemütlich und man hat alles, was man Braucht. Es gibt viele Bücher. (Wir haben einen, vielleicht etwas kitschigen, Roman, der in Crovie spielt und den wir in Elis Tearoom in Gardenstown gekauft haben, dagelassen.) Die Küche ist perfekt usgestattet. Elaine antwortet sofort, wenn es Probleme gibt. Danke!

Beautiful location, had a very relaxing stay here. Host was very welcoming.

This is our second visit to this haven of peace. Cute cottage, roaring fire, beautiful neighbours and the sound of waves whilst you sleep. A slice of heaven is Puffin cottage.

The cottage is lovely, very welcoming to dogs and the views of the bay are gorgeous. We enjoyed our time staying there.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni stupendi nell'alloggio di Chiara. Eravamo già passati da Pennan in estate e volevamo provare l'esperienza di essere come Local per qualche giorno in inverno. Così è stato, il cottage é molto accogliente, dentro un antica casa di pescatori nel porticciolo di Pennan, una posizione unica da cui godere della baia e del cielo stellato. Assolutamente un esperienza bellissima.

Fantastic cottage, just a few steps from the sea in a lovely village. Cottage had everything that we needed, was spotlessly clean and felt really welcoming. Emma was a great host and checked everything was ok and answered any queries. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. We would love to visit again.

If we could give a place more than 5 stars we would. Everything exceeded expectations. It was immaculate, well thought out, and comfortable. Whinnyfold is an absolute treasure. It felt like a fairytale village too beautiful to be real. We are excited to return.

My wife and our 2 little boys stayed at Gemma’s place for 3 nights. Instructions were great, check-in was easy, the place was spotless and within 50m walk of the beach. Helpfully, all of the things that you need for a short stay but don’t wish to buy especially were also there (eg buckets and spades, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, olive oil, soap, tea coffee etc) a great stay - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s caravan. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Jennifer was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always happy to help. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!

Sarah was a fantastic host and really friendly. She kindly delivered new garden furniture which was really appreciated given the lovely weather. A great caravan with everything you need.

A beautifully kitted out caravan which was spotless throughout. Lots of local info, right on the beach. All information was sent in advance and any additional questions were answered quickly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back again next year!

Absolutely the best Airbnb we have stayed in. From the harbour front location, to the cottage itself, everything was perfect. Joanna has thought of every detail to make a stay comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook every day. Spotlessly clean, amazing shower, really comfortable bed with sea views and beautiful beach walks. The dogs loved the stay as much as I did.

Stayed here while studying minke whales (or lack there of until May-ish) and dolphins in the area. Kiddos will probably love the bunny coat hanger. I stayed in the top bedroom which is the one next to the bathroom, a nice place and the bed is soft :)

The flat was so comfortable, and the ornaments & artwork really made it feel like a home. Lynne had thoughtfully left essentials in the fridge, plus some treats, which was very kind. Being able to look out on the harbour and to sea was lovely. It's also scarily convenient for the Harbour Lights Cafe (scary if you're watching your weight!) All in all, a wonderful, relaxing stay. Highly recommend it.

beautiful place and clean

The Old Icehouse is anything but cold. Beautifully presented apartment with everything you need for your vacation. Lots to do in the area. Having the beach just across the road was perfect. We were treated to amazing sunsets almost nightly. The walk up the coast to Tarbat Ness is worth doing.

Clean and well maintained accommodation and had all essentials in excellent working order.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Katies Haus sehr genossen, auch wenn es nur kurz war. Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Mit Katie zu kommunizieren war einfach und die Anweisungen im Haus klar und verständlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Portmahomack ist ein schönes Dörfchen am Meer und es hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Katies Haus braucht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
