Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

Guests have a private balcony overlooking the river, a stone fireplace, a large yard, ample parking and unlimited sounds of the mountains cascading down all around you! The Sawpit Mercantile is a few mintues up the road for provisions and libations and Telluride is 15 minutes away!

Mountain Vista House

Our contemporary cabin is located 10 minutes (6 miles) from the town of Telluride. We are 2.7 miles form the Town of Mountain Village Gondola parking structure. The Gondola is a fun, free ride to town. There is also an extensive trail system for hiking, biking and running that can be accessed from within the neighborhood( maps in binder) Please read this before requesting to book, ESPECIALLY if booking during winter months (Nov-April)our property may not be for everyone...

Placerville - Sunny house with big yard, private

We rent out our own home when we are gone. It's a short drive to Telluride, about 12 miles and 18 to 20 minutes to Mountain Village. Ski at Telluride, or enjoy film festivals, music festivals and the Blues Festival. We have fast internet - Starlink. We also have a puppy that's on the property. She does not go upstairs and has never been in the bedrooms (dogs seem to be afraid of the spiral stairs) and has not been on the carpets, but has been in my office.

Walk out the front door and access the preserved valley floor trails, bike path, river or trails into the backcountry. Eider Creek is ~3 min to town and ~7 min to mountain village. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the deck or admire the elk wandering the land in front of our home. Thoughtfully renovated in 2025. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Our Cozy Ranch House is located on the outskirts of Ridgway, CO. It sits on 46 acres with spectacular views of the Sneffel's range and downtown. With large windows in the front room and an outside deck, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor options to enjoy the views. It is not uncommon to spot elk, deer, turkeys, coyotes and even the occasional bear on the property. Just looking out the windows can be an adventure in itself.
