True, there is no direct view of the ocean from your Studio. BUT if you walk about 40 feet by the house, there is an ocean park right next door. It is perfect for drinking a morning coffee and listening the waves. It is the spot where locals hanging out. It is next to one of the most popular surfing spots in San Diego. Great for sun bathing and picnic. Close to a few sandy beaches. Lot of restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. The Pacific Beach night life is 5 mins drive away.

Endless supply of hot water to wash away the day in a nice shower or a soak in the tub. Slip into the hot tub out back to unwind.

Serene San Diego Canyon Getaway

Our cozy studio-style guest house perched above a tree-filled canyon is a serene getaway in the center of San Diego, just a few minutes' drive to all local attractions and most of our other institutions (colleges, universities, hospitals). The casita is comfortable for two or a small family, with full kitchen capacity to prepare at-home meals. Our weather here is temperate, but if the weather gets hot, we have a silent mini-split A/C unit to cool the casita as needed.

Just a mile to the coast, the house is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and a 25-minute walk into Encinitas, a classic beach surf town. Restaurants, live music, and quaint shops line nearby Highway 101. The large tropical garden has walking paths and seating areas perfect to relax in. The property is a true oasis! Shores Park on Mission Bay where miles of bike paths lead around the bay and to the beach. Near Mission Bay Golf, and Sea World. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance (7-10 blocks). Bus lines are 5 blocks. We are on a quiet 2 block long street with bikes, beach chairs, body boards, beach toys and beach towels for your use.
