Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful cabin. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and seclusion that made it the perfect escape. The cabin itself is incredibly cozy, warm, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. One of the true highlights was the hot tub, tucked away in nature and perfect for unwinding under the stars. The host was exceptionally responsive and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway - this place is a gem, and I can’t wait to return!

This place was an amazing spot for a friendly getaway with 8 guys. We went up there for access to nature, hiking, and just getting away from it all and this place was amazing. From the amenities to the fully stocked kitchen, it was perfect. The upstairs shower was also AMAZING. Weird thing to put in to a review, but I'll admit I looked forward to that shower every day that we were there. All in all, the space was modern, very comfortable, and was exactly what we wanted. The ONLY thing I would be wary of is the road leading up to the house. It gets a little treacherous and I was happy to have had Bronco and a Wrangler with us, but we did have a Chevy Volt and it made it up to the location with no problem. So definitely possible, but having some more climbing power would be advised. Otherwise, it was AMAZING! Thinking about when I can stay there again.

Great spot for a weekend getaway! Tucked away between the sequoias. Peaceful, quaint, and quiet. Every windows had a view. Great record player. Had snacks which was a nice gesture. Hot tub was great. Communication excellent. Backyard was beautiful looking up to the trees from the hammock. Had s’mores with the fire. Comfy bed. Great location. Had a blast at Henry Cowell state park! Thank you

My son and I just spent four days at Gracie's cabin in La Honda, and it surpassed all expectations. The setting is stunning and incredibly peaceful, nestled among trees and ferns. The cabin was spotless and impeccably maintained. While we didn't spend much time cooking, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary appliances and plenty of snacks. Gracie was prompt and effective in her communication. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

Excellent hosts, amazing little sanctuary in the city. Roomier than expected, plenty size for one, two could work if you are good together in smaller space. A block away are two corner markets that have a lot of groceries and alcohol, good stuff too even some organic! Amazing selection for being so small at both places, plus a nice big laundromat right there as well. Five minutes walk to get to all of those places, plus there’s a deli and a restaurant or two as well. The actual street this listing is on was very quiet and family-oriented, a gorgeous full court basketball court and a church a block away. I was surprised how quiet it was day and night there. The hot tub is surrounded by tall plants in such a cool way that makes you feel even more removed from everything and private. Brand new bed that’s really comfy, great bathroom and kitchen. It’s one to consider even though it may be lacking one or two staples you’re used to because great hosts, great setup, quiet and comfy, private.

We had an absolutely delightful and serene stay at Emkay's place. Nestled in the picturesque hills surrounded by towering redwoods, this spot is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate. Emkay and his wife are genuinely wonderful hosts—kind, attentive, and welcoming in every way. The place itself exudes a cozy charm, with the peaceful ambiance enhanced by the soft, calming sound of a nearby creek that you can hear as you relax. It’s a magical experience to sit quietly, listening to the gentle burble of water while being embraced by the tranquility of nature. The quietude here is truly unmatched, making it an ideal place to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life.

Had such a great time staying in the Jazmine cabin. It is quite small, but expected. There are so many things to explore and see within walking distance and food is a 5 to 10 minute drive into town (I fell in love with the small town of Soquel). Emkay and Lara were amazing hosts, it's a bonus they live on the property. Which by the way is so zen and beautiful. I can't say enough about the "beach" area, it is so peaceful. Emkay and his family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We took our 2 little dogs and they had a blast exploring the property. I will be back. A lovely, cozy escape in the redwoods! We absolutely loved the outdoor fire pit area – perfect for evenings under the trees. The master bedroom was also fantastic and very comfortable. A great stay overall!

Came to Brooke's cabin as a much needed respite from a remodeling project. Intentionally I had planned to stay a week but because this darling cabin was exactly what I needed, that week turned into a month! The space was modern and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large front deck. The huge surrounding Redwoods provide a view through every window and lots of privacy. I couldnt have asked for a better host; if I was in need of anything,Brooke was quick to respond with consideration and kindness. Because my companion in all this was my 9mo old Corgi, I also appreciated that the entirety of the property is fenced. If you're thinking of visiting our incredible Redwoods in N. Ca., Brooke's space is a perfect option: inviting, peaceful, quiet and central to everything to do and see in the area.Although back in my own home again, I will actually miss Brooke's sweet cabin in the woods-it became my home away from home.

The place is beautiful and extremely peaceful, but the highlight of the stay was Mary. She's so sweet and down to earth. She was more than accommodating and I wish all my future hosts are as great as she is.

This place was very centrally located to the ocean which is what we wanted. It was so nice to stay in the redwoods and hang out at the beach all day. The backyard was great we had plenty of room for all of us. There were plenty of things for our 14 and 10 year old to. Overall it was a great place and a great location. The only thing that was not mentioned either in its description or in pictures is, it’s still decorated for Christmas everywhere in and out of the house in the middle of April. It was a bit overwhelming for this time of year. Otherwise we had a great experience.

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

Really enjoyed our stay!

The Cabin was incredible! Breathtaking views and fully stocked game room for kids and those young at heart. The bedrooms had good quality beds and linen. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large quantity of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook delicious meals. Ernesto was proactive in communicating and alerted us when we accidentally turned off the timed lights outside. Our family of 12 had memorable moments in The Cabin during our stay in the Fall, and we recommend it to anyone wanting to have the ‘cabin in the woods’ experience.

This AirBnB was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Had all the amenities we needed and just behind it was a short 1min walk to a creek that was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and the friendly staff for making our trip easy.

Total privacy and well organized. Really nice place. Her instruction manual was like Grandma’s nightie—covered everything. Thumbs up. 👍

The Cottage under the Redwoods was wonderfully clean and cozy. The hosts are terrific. It is my favorite place to stay when I am away from home.

Clean and lots of personality- like your grandma's cottage. Plenty of little nooks of space to relax in. Kitchen has everything you need. Lots of cool children's books and other books in a few "libraries," and we enjoyed the magazines, etc. Bed is definitely a double! Note that between the living room and bedroom, bedroom and bathroom the doors are like full-length folding shutters rather than doors. Was okay for us but good to know. Since we pay a cleaning fee, it would've been nice to not have to empty the trash and strip all the beds, towels, etc. All in all, it was a great location, cozy and quiet, tranquil and just what we wanted.

Great glamping weekend, beautiful surroundings, would recommend for anyone who’s looking to escape the city.

Magical, epic, rustic. Outside bathtub and views of both mountains and bay were the highlights. It's the kind of place to slow down and refresh, in simple surroundings. Highly recommend!
