San Carlos: soggiorni in alloggi con posti a sedere all'aperto

We really enjoyed our stay, travelling with two dogs is always challenging but our host was super helpful and even offered to watch the puppies while we were going whale watching. The place is right in town but feels very safe due to the host living next door and the police station across the street. She also runs a kayak rental business and knows people to arrange the whale watching tours! We had a great time and the place worked out great for us! Best value in Mexico so far!

It was an amazing stay! The place is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also really appreciated the gallon of drinking water and the well-stocked kitchen, including tea, coffee, and a ton of spices. The communication was fantastic – Alicia was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and grocery stores. The highlight of our trip was the whale-watching tour they offer! It was truly the best experience of our entire trip – beyond all expectations! The captain and our guide, Mayra, were incredibly welcoming and made sure we saw everything possible in the Magdalena Bay area. Watching the Gray Whales was an absolutely magical experience. We also saw dolphins, sea lions, bird colonies, and even a coyote in the dunes. The boat tour wasn’t just about wildlife watching – it also gave us insight into village life and the daily experiences of local fishermen, which we truly appreciated! I highly recommend staying at their place and having a tour!

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt! Die Kommunikation war super, Alicia hat immer schnell geantwortet und versucht, die beste Lösung zu finden. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet. Von der Terrasse hat man eine traumhafte Aussicht aufs Meer und den Sonnenuntergang. Das Highlight war die private Grauwal Tour: wir haben so unfassbar viele Wale aus der Nähe gesehen, Seelöwen, Schildkröten, Vögel und sogar einen Kojoten in den Dünen. Mayra, unsere Reiseführerin, hat sich super lieb um uns gekümmert, all unsere Fragen beantwortet, leckeres Essen vorbereitet und war mit Javit, dem Kapitän, das perfekte Team. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können sowohl die Unterkunft als auch die Tour von ihnen nur empfehlen!

This lovely hotel was an oasis of style and grace. It was totally unexpected as the photos do not do it justice. It was authentic Mexico in it's large carved beds and sky blue expansive tile floors. Best shower I had in the 21 days I was in Mexico. The gardens, expansive outdoor kitchen and wonderful people all made this little getaway very special. Take their advice and don't try and see the whales in the afternoon that was close to a disaster!

“Our stay in this small Mexican village was very nice overall. The location of the accommodation was ideal and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The excellent communication and friendliness of the staff, which made us feel very welcome, are particularly positive. The village itself is very loud in the evenings until late at night (CARS WITH LOUD MUSIC) but has an authentic charm, although not too many activities or attractions to offer. We had hoped to watch whales, but unfortunately this was not possible during our trip. Nevertheless, it was a relaxed and pleasant experience - the people in the village are incredibly warm and hospitable. Overall, a recommended accommodation for anyone looking for authenticity!”
