A trip to charming Saluda is like a step back in time and Liberty Hall log cabin welcomes you to sit a while on the front porch and take in the spectacular mountain views. A hike on the nature conservancy trail right outside the front door and chasing fireflies at dusk make this an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Quaint downtown Saluda offers varied dining options and numerous breweries close by offer a refreshing break after tubing down the Green River or hiking down to gaze at a waterfall.

Reconnect with nature in this off grid wild mountain setting. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive access only. AWD SUBARUS get up just fine! Steep gravel road. There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.
