Salt Spring Island: soggiorni in agriturismo

We really enjoyed staying at Debby and Keith's beautiful farm. My kids enjoyed playing with Fig (the dog) and horses. Thank you so much for your hospitality and also teaching me English too.

Our stay at Foxglove Farm was nothing shy of magical. Our 14 month old son absolutely loved seeing the rosters and exploring the expansive fields. When we arrived Jeanne had prepared a lovely basket of freshly picked produce that we used in our meals. We really lucked out with the weather and spent much of our visit outside taking in the beauty of the farm. Everyone working on the farm was friendly and welcoming. It is a quick drive to town and we loved getting to explore the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foxglove Farm - it is a beautiful property, featuring chickens/roosters, organic produce and a large deck to enjoy our meals at. Our host was friendly and reliable, and made us feel right at home. I cannot recommend this property enough - and definitely suggest purchasing their ‘produce basket’ to enjoy farm fresh eggs and veggies. We cannot wait to come back one day!

We had the perfect stay- what a spot!! Stunning, serene and just what we were looking for. The hosts are incredibly friendly, kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved it- wish we could have stayed longer!!! Thank you so much, we loved every second!

I was lucky this place was available for my short trip to Salt Spring Island. It was a nice little oasis with lots of space and privacy. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Peter's place was perfect for our three nights on Galiano with our dogs. The house was comfortable and the view was exceptional! We had perfect weather to enjoy the patio and veranda, and it was a great base from which to explore the island. The location on Montague Harbour provided ready access to the Provincial park and we also travelled to several other locations for hikes and beach adventures. Larry welcomed us when we arrived and was available to answer questions as needed. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Galiano.

My 11-year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. OUR Ecovillage is a values-driven community that we were proud to support. Brandy is a great host, paying attention to small details as well as the bigger picture of guest comfort within the context of a community farm. The space was delightful and the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We travelled from England for two weeks to explore Vancouver Island. The cottage was the perfect base for us. Situated in the most beautiful location with a river running at the back - it really was a haven of calm for us as we lead such busy and stressful lives at home. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the cooking utensils we needed plus more! Added extras like binoculars to star gaze, bear bells, cozy blankets and umbrellas showed how much the host really cares about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Our daughter loved reading in the hammock! Doug and Michelle were fantastic in helping us to arrange our trip and also in recommending local places to visit, eat, shop etc. Always responsive to our messages and friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to anybody! The location is perfect - isolated for those people who want the peace and relaxation but great for exploring the island for those like us. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOUG AND MICHELLE!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this lovely house. The space was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it the perfect escape from the city. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, allowing us to cook a great dinner together. We enjoyed playing games and relaxing before having a truly restful night’s sleep. This house exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable weekend.

Our family of four had a lovely, multiple-day visit to Saltspring and really enjoyed staying at Tara’s cabin. The location is both central but also private and tucked away, so very peaceful, and really unique with the goats and alpacas right there to admire. The cabin space has been used very thoughtfully and worked really well for lounging around (sleeping loft perfect for a teen), sleeping, cooking, etc. Nice touches like the Saltspring Soapworks products in the bathroom, and Easter chocolates for the kids, really put it over the top! We were fortunate enough to get good weather most days and it was great to sit outside in the sun, or in the hammock, and just soak up the forest and farm energy.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and quaint Airbnb! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming — she even gave us a tour of her beautiful farm, which was a unique and memorable experience. The room was decorated beautifully with thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and inviting. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances we needed, which made our stay even more convenient. Bonnie was very sweet and added to the charm of the place. This spot is perfect for a relaxing staycation — quiet, scenic, and full of character. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene setting!

The Granary was a beautiful, charming, and cosy place for us to disconnect and unwind from the city. You can tell that the host put a lot of care and attention in curating the design, furnishings, and amenities of the accommodation. A lot of storage space is included which proved useful during our stay and the kitchen area allowed us to prepare meals to eat and enjoy on the backyard patio while looking out onto the sheep paddock and the surrounding mountain area. The accommodation is conveniently located near hiking trails such as Kinsol Trestle Bridge, wineries and cideries (we enjoyed Blue Grouse Wineries and Merridale Cidery and Distillery), and cafes (Drumroasters was particularly enjoyable). I would recommend a stay at this place to all looking for a place to relax and reconnect with nature.

This was one of my favourite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed! The photos do not do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our favourite part of this stay was the two border collies that followed us around we absolutely adored them. The skylight above the bed at night with the stars was unreal.

Bin and Lily are great host..If you are looking for relaxing getaway then this is the perfect place for staycation. This place is perfect for all ages of people. Surrounding is so scenic and beautiful. Lovely farm where you can spend time with nature and petting goats was bonus. When it comes to the amenities and supplies, we felt like the owners have taken care of very small small things to provide comfort to the guests. Exceeded our expectations and surely gonna come back...

Natalie's cottage felt like something out of a fairy storybook, everything was thoughtfully designed and beautiful. We almost wanted to spend our whole time there instead of exploring the island because it was so calm and lovely. Kitchen was perfect with lots of thoughtful touches, bathroom was gorgeous, bed and bedding were super comfortable. LOVED it!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Bernadette was very friendly and responded to my messages in a timely manner. Check-in was as described and the dome was lovely! We enjoyed the pitter patter of the rain in the evening while we watched the horses graze. When the rain stopped we took a stroll to visit the goats and the turkey who was gobbling up a storm. we were warm and toasty in the dome overnight. The frogs were signing loudly. Coffee in bed watching the sheep and the goats wander by was the highlight for me. We met Bernadette later in the morning to meet the animals and give a few pets. We left with farm fresh eggs which was an unexpected treat! Would highly recommend for a quiet escape.

Thank you for having us Leslie! Very clean space, fresh linens and a very comfortable bed! The patio was lovely and big and I enjoyed sitting and watching the animals. Surprise (the bull) was surprisingly very amusing! Very much enjoyed the location and it’s close to farms with tea, petting zoos and soaps.

This has been one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever, and I’ve travelled the world! Charlie was so welcoming, gracious, kind and did everything to give me the best stay. The home itself is stunning, with a backyard that is huge and was perfect for relaxing, and especially for what I went there for, to work on my book. I highly recommend Charlie and David’s home to anyone. She went the extra mile and has such a warm and welcoming spirit, plus is so fun to talk to. You’ll get to experience their garden and fresh mint. And the labyrinth was so calming! I feel a did a lot of nervous and adrenal system healing after coming from a big city. This was just what I was dreaming of. Thank you!

The property is absolutely beautiful and Heidi is the perfect host. Upon check-in, we were greeted with flowers, a basket of fruit, and makings for a great breakfast. The space is large, clean, and very well appointed. The property is so nice that it was difficult to leave to explore the Island! 🤣 Heidi was very warm and welcoming. She made sure that we were happy and was very responsive. Communications were wonderful. We were a group of 8 and never felt like we were in each other’s way. Thanks you for a wonderful visit!!

We hope to come back to this cute and beautiful cabin very close to Ruckle Park. It is bright and has lots of space. So lovely to sit in the hottub and listen to the sounds of nature. Eric and Gina were very helpful and came over quickly to troubleshoot the hot tub when it turned off.

This was our second stay here - obviously we like it! It was a perfect space for our family thanksgiving get together - lots of space for everyone, lots of interesting places/activities to explore in the area. We were lucky enough to have beautiful fall weather to enjoy aperitivo hour on the wonderful deck at sunset each day and also to have a night of aurora borealis viewing over the house as well! Barbara was a great host - no issues with communication, booking, etc. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Susan's home was our favorite Airbnb. The setting is so beautiful and private. Everything in the home is thoughtfully and comfortably laid out (best reading lamps, ever). Fabulous views of the water from every room and the whole cabin was filled with a special charm. We will treasure our memories!

Sarah's place is simply outstanding . Peace and tranquility exude through the house and surrounding garden. Sitting in the outdoor area you feel as if you have arrived somewhere you can really feel at peace and at home. So serene. We love this place and we are going back at the first available chance. Well equipped cute unit in a lovely garden. 15 minutes walk into Ganges with lots of restaurants and an extensive Saturday market. Garages and supermarket. We had a good supper at Fishery and Chips (closes at 7.00). Stephanie very helpful regarding the area. Nice view from the breakfast bar to the sea.
