Welcome to the Cabana - a unique and stylish studio apartment in the heart of the South Land Park Hills. Centrally located, you’re a short drive to downtown, shopping, businesses and parks. Walk 15 minutes to Land Park and the Sacramento Zoo! Enjoy your stay in comfort with a king-sized bed, new TV for streaming, beautifully appointed bathroom and kitchen. A private entrance/parking will make your stay comfortable and effortless. We welcome your well-behaved furry friends for a nominal fee.

Arriving, you enter your peaceful private garden. Inside, true comfort awaits: nourishing sleep, creative cooking, luscious lounging (see amenities). Once settled, relaxing with wine glass in hand, you notice the beauty: the huge oak, hummingbirds, crimson-capped woodpeckers. And then you say, “Aahh, peace.”

Blackwood Garden Guesthouse

Enjoy this unique and tranquil hideaway tucked in the rear of our property in the historic Woodlake neighborhood of North Sacramento. Marvel at the greenery and canopy of our backyard garden from the guesthouse porch or relax on your own private patio under shade trees. You will have everything you need in the guest house including clean sheets, covers, towels and pillow cases and it has a full kitchen that we have stocked with basics. You can ask us for anything that you might need.

During your visit, enjoy a spacious spa-like rainfall shower, quartz countertop kitchenette, memory foam-topped queen mattress, and FAST WiFi in this stand-alone backyard studio in a safe, quiet, working class, and diverse neighborhood. Centrally located near UC Davis Med Center, McGeorge School of Law, & Oak Park's blossoming Triangle District, this space is your ideal home base for your upcoming visit.

Our guesthouse is nestled in the back of our home in beautiful Land Park, one of the finest neighborhoods in Sacramento. It's a quiet place of well-being where you can relax & enjoy the tranquil backyard garden. In light of COVID-19 we are taking extra precautions to sterilize all surfaces prior to each visit.
