We had a comfortable stay at HOME and kumily , and the best part is its proximity to major tourist locations, which made our travel very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a food processor, cooking utensils, water filter, and fridge — which made meal preparation easy and smooth. The two bedrooms we used were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. However, one of the rooms had been remodeled with a wooden partition, which we personally didn’t prefer, so we opted not to use it. The only concern during our stay was the lack of AC and ventilation. While the weather was cool enough to manage, we feel that installing an AC or enhancing ventilation could make the stay even more comfortable, especially during warmer months. That said, overall, the facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated the peaceful ambiance and accessibility of the property. We’ve left the used utensils behind for cleaning, as instructed. Our stay in this beautiful home for 9 days was amazing. We absolutely loved this location on top of a hill. Just having brunch on the balcony while overlooking the windmills and the hills was so peaceful. The home itself was perfect. It had everything we needed. We were able to cook ourselves using the utensils in the kitchen, watch movies without hassle on the TV, enough space to dry clothes and also space for a car parking. We would definitely like to revisit this place. We couldn't find any food restaurants nearby but our caretaker's wife made us excellent food. We especially loved the puttu and egg curry she made. Me and my gf found tons of things to do around. We climbed a small hill with a church on top which is just 500m from the home. I went cycling around ramakkalmedu and saw beautiful things each time. We drove to munnar one day and had home made chocolates. Other days we just walked around and explored the beautiful flowers in kerela. Overall, we loved this place. Thank you!

For a nature lover like me, Joy’s place was just perfect! The house is surrounded by trees, making it peaceful and refreshing. It was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You get access to most of the villa, except for two locked rooms, but the space is more than sufficient and never felt restrictive. Uncle and Aunty live in the back portion, which was actually reassuring because they were always nearby if we needed anything. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances. What truly made this stay special was their warmth and hospitality. Aunty’s food was amazing - she even made North Indian dishes just for us, which made us feel at home. And Uncle was incredibly kind. When I had a minor fall and needed a doctor, he immediately arranged for a checkup and made sure I was okay. Their kindness and generosity made this place more than just accommodation - it truly felt like home. Highly recommended!
