Church Street is the absolute best New Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque. If visiting in warmer months, ask to be seated in their patio. If in the cooler months, ask for a table in the great room near the kiva fireplace! Everything on the menu is excellent!

Backstreet Grill is known for their tacos, but they also do a great happy hour (4-6pm, I think) and everything on the menu is good. My favorites are the nachos and their salted pretzel caramel brownie sundae

This is an incredible New Mexican Restaurant. It is in a lovely traditional southwestern style building and the food is top notch. It's not directly in old town which means cheaper prices and fewer crowds making it one of my favorites. I highly recommend their breakfast enchiladas or huevos rancheros. They also do homemade tortillas here!

It's not directly in old town which means cheaper prices and fewer crowds making it one of my favorites. I highly recommend their breakfast enchiladas or huevos rancheros. They also do homemade tortillas here!
I recommend Happy Garden for great tasting and reasonably priced Chinese food. Their family meals are an incredible deal. Seared is a truly incredible dinning experience. The service is phenomenal and the food even better. It's upscale Americana food, so expect steak, seafood, chicken and even some fancy burgers and sandwiches. I highly recommend Seared if you're celebrating or just in the mood for good food.
