Rent a kayak or paddle board when the weather is beautiful or jump into one of the electric boats at the marina. Home to Rio Salado's rowing club, the beautiful oasis in the desert is a great spot for bike rides around it and strolls in the evening as well.

Park near Tempe Town Lake and walk on over to the traditional A mountain for a challenging hike up to the top of the butte that is a battle ground for the ASU/UofA rivalry. (Watch around the annual battleground game for Tucson rivals to pain the A on A mountain BLUE.)
