Please note: Wanda's is closed on Wed and Thursdays. They are open for breakfast and lunch (until 2pm). Their food is amazing! Not greasy. Amazing selection. Fantastic Coffee. Homemade bread and pastries. There is often a 10-30 minute wait, but it's always worth it. The servers are fast and efficient, and the food comes out quickly too.

Old Oregon Smokehouse has some of our favorite seafood in the local area! The fish is fresh pretty much daily, and comes right from the ocean across the street! Their smoked salmon is the best we've ever had (if you go visit them around 5:30-6:00pm, it'll be fresh off the smoker and still warm for an amazing treat!). Cod fish and chips are really good too. Outdoor seating only or takeout. They also offer clam chowder, shrimp, oysters and more.

Old Oregon Smoke House
120 US-101Old Oregon Smokehouse has some of our favorite seafood in the local area! The fish is fresh pretty much daily, and comes right from the ocean across the street! Their smoked salmon is the best we've ever had (if you go visit them around 5:30-6:00pm, it'll be fresh off the smoker and still warm for an amazing treat!). Cod fish and chips are really good too. Outdoor seating only or takeout. They also offer clam chowder, shrimp, oysters and more.
Offshore has a separate coffee shop (not much seating room, but great coffee) and a small, cozy cafe/restaurant. Their food is good and is highly spoken of my most of our guests. The menu isn't huge, but what they have is good, and the service is awesome as well. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Though there may not be much of a nightlife in a quiet beach town, Lakeside is where locals and tourists alike will go for drinks, to watch the game, or even sing karaoke. Their food is pretty good, too!

Dead west from our house (2 min drive or 10 min walk) you'll find miles of soft, sandy beaches and the TWIN ROCKS! Two long-standing rocks in the ocean. You can not get to them, they are too far out. But they make the most amazing backdrop, any time of day, but especially at sunset!

Neahkahnie Mountain is a roughly 6 mile round trip hike that is moderate in intensity. But your reward is unprecedented views of the Pacific Ocean, Manzanita, and even Rockaway Beach.

The old growth forest that you hike through is incredible as well. You can also complete longer hikes like "Elk Flats" or "Cape Falcon".
