Parks & Nature
This park has our absolute favorite hike - Bald Mountain. This hike has everything - iconic river trail, haunting rock formations, magical forests, a heart-pounding push to the top, and a spectacular payoff with stunning views. Not. To. Be Missed. Even if you decide to hike the lower trail, and not push to the top, you will be richly rewarded.

This is the closest full grocery store to us. All of the essentials are here, along with a nice Vermont cheese selection. They also make their own delicious sausages, which we can't live without.

Dutton Farm Stand is where we buy almost all of our produce. Local berries, veggies, famous Gilfeather turnips, so many varieties of apples. They also have fresh-baked pies, wheels of cheese, local sauces and sundries, milk, eggs, fudge, and olive oil - along with an impressive array of landscaping plants. Worth a stop just to check out an authentic, family-owned farm stand.
