Within walking distance and delicious. Burgers and sandwiches are excellent. I am found of their rueben, which is only offered on Wednesdays.

This place is a local treasure. Farm meets farmer's market, they have a permanent store, as well as an outside market that often has BBQ and other food offering. Set in a beautiful location, it's a gorgeous drive you won't regret.

A famous Texas swimming hole, Wimberley's Blue Hole is only a short drive away. You must have a reservation to go to the swimming area. These can be made online. This is a great spot for a refreshing dip in cool clear waters. This is a family friendly location. Alcohol is not allowed, nor are pets. Aside from the swimming area, this park has several miles of trails that do not require a reservation.

Boat ramp #19 is the boat ramp at the main marina (near Baja BBQ Shack). From here, one of our favorite things to do is to paddle out to the small island straight ahead from the boat launch. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy your own (semi) private island.
