One of the better (best?) restaurants in the area. Prices aren't cheap, and you'll need to book ahead, but the food and service are a cut above compared to the other restaurants in the area.

Sightseeing
Mauao, also known locally as the Mount, is the best place to get a 360 degree view of the the area. On a stunning day, it is hard to beat. It's a bit of a trek to get to the top (if you're fit and move fast you could do it in 20 minutes) but it is well worth it for the view.

This is the nearest supermarket to the apartment. It isn't big, and it's not the cheapest, but it's the easiest to get to and there is plenty of parking underneath. It takes around 12 minutes to walk there from the apartment.

Paper Plane are great for unusual gifts and other desirable objects. It's a beautiful store, and it's become a bit of a destination for people visiting. Worth a look as part of a walk along the what is commonly known as Main Street.
