Geyser Park is the home of the world's first (and maybe only) captive geyser. The Soda Springs Geyser was created by accident in 1934 when crews were drilling for a source of hot water for the town. They drilled into a pressurized pocket of water that was eventually capped with a valve that controls it's "eruption" every hour, on the hour.

Alexander Reservoir was built in the 1920s as part of the Bear River Hydro Project. It provides boating and fishing opportunities. There is a picnic ground and boat ramp just off US 30.

The historic Enders Hotel is next to Geyser Park. It has been totally remodeled yet still keeps the look and feel of the early 1900s. It includes a free working museum on the 2nd floor where you can literally go back in history to the early days of Soda Springs.

Just north of town 10 miles or so, the Blackfoot Reservoir provides boating and fishing second to none. Bring your boat and enjoy a day on the lake. We have plenty of parking at the lodge for your RV, boat, ATV, etc.

The Geyser View Restaurant is located in the historic Enders Hotel. Their food is excellent (huge portions too!) You can watch the Soda Springs Geyser erupt out it's back windows.

Enjoy the hot pools, Olympic sized outdoor and indoor swimming pools, water slide, shopping, night-life, and everything else Lava has to offer then return to our peaceful lodge to rejuvenate from your adventures.
