Never crowded, cheaper than other resorts and terrain that is way underrated! I am not sure why Solitude is so often overlooked but a great place to ski any time but especially around holidays.

A great all around resort with a terrain park second only to Park City. The glades here are phenomenal and there is terrain anyone can enjoy. Also has night skiing.

Skiers only (sorry boarders) but probably my favorite place to ski (with Snowbird a close second). This place has great beginner and intermediate terrain and unreal expert terrain.

In Utah only the liquor store carries wine, liquor and full strength beer. If you plan on enjoying a glass of wine with dinner this liquor store is walking distance from the house.

Ok, so I don't recommend Fashion Place Mall, I recommend getting out and enjoying what Utah has to offer but if someone in your group is not outdoorsy or needs an off day this is a big mall.
