Food scene

Let's just say, I love good food.
I was out for a walk and saw this quaint restaurant with outdoor seating. As I passed, I caught eye of their beautiful and large delicious looking crepes. Later I was able to experience yumminess. Make note they are not open on Sundays.

After a day of hiking and biking at Zion’s we enjoyed some delicious food at Whiptail Grill. Their outdoor patio was the perfect setting. Definitely going back.

If you love Thai food and great service, be sure to plan for a night out at Benja Thai and Sushi in ancestor Square. This one is the closet to our townhome and the better of the two locations. It's best to make a reservation one day ahead to be sure you get the time you want. Walk ins are welcome and you just might have a wait time.

Day Adventures

I will be adding to this section as I explore and discover new places. I will include places I have been as well as places I want to discover.
If you want to have a protected area to swim and have a fun day at “the beach” come to Fire lake. About the park: FREE Parts of the trail and park are owned by the Shivwits Indian Tribe and Kayenta. Be respectful at all times of this property. Parking is limited; carpool and park trailers on the side of the entrace verses a parking spot There are bathrooms and sinks! Lots of beach area; if the parking lot is full that doesn’t mean there isn’t any room on the sand Bring floaties, kayaks and paddle boards Things to remember: NO DOGS — they are working hard to keep this swimming hole clean and sanitary. Please respect the NO DOGS (at all!) rule. There is not a lot of garbage cans around the beach area. Be prepared to pack out ALL of your garbage. No drinking fountains. Pack a lot of water (no trees for shade). There are some sticks under the water so be cautious. Just off the parking lot is a dirt trail that circles the reservoir. This is a great way to travel down to additional parts of the beach without having to tread through sand whilst carrying everything you can imagine. Wagons and strollers work well on this road as long as it hasn’t rained recently
