Tasty French food owned and ran by two friendly French brothers. Support small businesses and make your belly happy while you are at it! I recommend the crepes, and the coffee is divine.

This has been my favorite go to bar for the last 4 years. I love the dive scene. The music is just loud enough to create a great atmosphere, but not too loud to drown out conversation. While the drinks are to die for, I am not the biggest fan of the food. Great staff, a nice outside area, darts and a full sized pool table. It's 18 minutes away but if you hate crowds and love good drinks like I do it is totally worth it!

As an alumni of UT, I am probably a tiny bit biased. BUT UT does have some fantastic sights especially the Plant Museum which goes back centuries.

While this is a good 30 minutes away, the oneness you will feel with nature is worth it. The skies feel bluer here and the air is definitely cleaner. There is a nice sized zipline which the kids just love. My 24 year old self has also used that zipline...it's pretty neat. There is a running trail, a sand trail, and a biking trail. There is also a picknic area and lots and lots of exploration space. It is also free!
