Great spot in Ellsworth for a pub lunch and try some of their homemade beers. Food is very filling and delicious.

I grew up in this little village. Population 147! It is a bit of a drive but if you go to Schoodic Peninsula and then for lunch it would be a perfect day!

This is the second part of Acadia National Park. Less crowded, stunning views. About a 45 minute drive from our house. Well worth the trip. The drive there is level with the ocean so it is a total different experience from The Park Loop road here. You can actually see across the bay to Bar Harbor. Pretty special place.

This is the second part of Acadia National Park. Less crowded, stunning views. About a 45 minute drive from our house. Well worth the trip. The drive there is level with the ocean so it is a total different experience from The Park Loop road here. You can actually see across the bay to Bar Harbor. Pretty special place.
With a reservation they will deliver kayaks to the property.
We strongly recommend only experienced boaters kayak in the ocean. Ocean can change very quickly and while in a "tucked in" spot we are still subject to wind and waves. Just sayin!
