Unbelievably good mexican. Definitely try a Huarache, with all fixings (cheese, cilantro, and onions). The tinga (chicken) and carne asada (beef) are good options for meet. Poblano peppers are great for vegitarians. My highest recommendation--but eat there for best experience

One of the reasons Rogers Park is a gem. Many good beaches here, good playground (or two), pick-up basketball, tennis, quirky people watching, its great and easily accessible.
