Covering 135 acres with an average greens size of 4,700 square feet, this lush course has 32 sand bunkers and two acres of ponds and water hazards. The Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course is open to public play, rain and shine, except during the rare snowstorm. The course was built along with the rest of the community in the late 1960’s based on a Billy Bell Jr. design and is the only 18-hole championship course in Lake County. It has a relatively level front nine and a back nine that weaves between oak trees on hilly terrain. The 15th tees have spectacular views of Mt. St. Helena with a 250-foot drop to the fairway.

Beginning at the trailhead off Highway 20 near the Lake County / Colusa County line, it climbs through oak woodland habitat about a mile to the top of a ridge affording great views of surrounding mountains. The trail then follows a dirt road for approximately 0.25 mile to a trail junction. The trail then bears right and follows a ridge downward 4.5 miles through chaparral, grass seedlings, and finally oak woodland habitat before descending to the spacious grassy benches adjoining Cache Creek.

Glen Eden Trail is a 6.8 mile point-to-point trail located near Lakeport, CA and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, mountain biking, and off road driving and is accessible from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
