Avis Rent A Car
33-39 Southcote RdYou can get the bus at Boscombe Crescent, left of the traffic lights opposite Koh Thai Tappas. Bus number 1 goes all the way to Poole. Bus 1a and 1b will take you to Bournemouth. All of the busses mentioned will also take you to Christchurch in the opposite direction.

Rules for cycling on Bournemouth beach
You can cycle on the seafront, but pedestrians have priority so please be careful around them.
Restrictions
There are some areas where you can’t cycle. These are as following:
•All zig-zag pathways leading from the cliff top to promenade
•Access slopes leading onto Bournemouth Pier Approach, from the West Overcliff and East Overcliff
•Alum Chine
•Bournemouth Lower Central Gardens
During July and August you can’t cycle on the promenade between 10am and 6pm. Cycling on the seafront at these times could lead to prosecution.
