A palace, but try the bar with the musicians playing in the evening, great wines, and big nibbles on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. A good romantic evening. They also have a good brasserie, a bit expensive.

Because you are a tourist, you should go to the oldest café globally. Incredible place, like a museum. A cool history: Voltaire, Rousseau, and all the revolutionary people were meeting there.
Don’t miss the small street behind it: a great way to imagine what was Paris before Haussman.
