There's so much to do in Fairview Park. There is an awesome asphalt running trail that winds all through the park. Go for an early morning jog, or just a leisurely evening stroll. Take our cruiser bicycles for a spin. The park is close enough to ride the bikes there from the house. The park is always full of people - kids playing on the playground, college kids practicing softball, bicyclist enthusiasts, etc.
There are several pavilions throughout the park. Most feature outdoor grills. These are great for getting together with family and friends for an impromptu cookout on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Scovill Zoo is a family favorite. I remember going often as a kid myself. The zoo has a variety of animals, including a reptile house. Grab a snow cone and ride the train to better see the sights.
There's also a huge outdoor playground and flower gardens.

Awesome Chinese take out! It's the best Chinese in town. No delivery. Ready for pick up 10 minutes after you place your phone in order. Try the orange chicken or the curry shrimp & onions.
