There’s going to be a line when you arrive at this restaurant, especially if you’re here around lunchtime on a weekend, but it’s a line that’s well worth waiting in. The food on this menu is healthy and fresh and satisfying, regardless of whether you’ve been shopping in town or hiking a mountain. There is a range of rice bowls, salads and sandwiches on the lunch menu, and breakfast bowls and breakfast paninis are served until 11:30 a.m. We recommend the Buddha Bowl (and opt to pay extra for avocado and salmon) or the pad Thai if you’re here for lunch. And choose one of the many teas to pair with your lunch. The café also hosts live music events.

Doesn't look like much and it's not fancy but the food is incredible. I've heard many people say, "I've been to Italy and this food is just as good if not better!" Try the Eggplant Stack. Two Italian brothers own it and do the cooking.

Great live music. probably one of the busiest places at night in Canmore. Try the Duck balls and pecan pie. Absolutely delicious. (not actual ducks balls!) Great patio

If you take a walk through downtown be sure to stop of the Giant Head sculpture as makes for an awesome instagram moment. Cant miss this guy.

Bankhead is a ghost town which flanks Cascade Mountain and lies just south of Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park which takes you back in time to when this was a thriving local community. Although you have to use your imagination there are plenty of relics from the past plus photos and signage.

Peyto lake is another must visit when travelling down the Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise and Jasper. From the parking lot it is only a 20 minute hike to the viewing platform.. This is a great hike for the whole family. This of course can make it busy, but we know of a second viewpoint without as many hikers. So, if you want to post this popular insta-hotspot on your timeline check out our Peyto Lake hike.
