One of the biggest things to happen for the Utah art scene was the opening of The Monarch - stop in on the First Friday of every month to tour the artist studios, and check out their website for special events. Our house looks over their parking lot where they set up weekend markets and concerts!

It is a beautiful hike up Waterfall Canyon in any season. Enough to get your heart pumping, great views of the city, and the waterfall is gorgeous whether running or frozen. Don't forget your spikes in the winter though, it gets icy!

These are some of the best natural hot springs in Utah! Features multiple pools of different temperatures and a waterfall and the hike to get there is beautiful. During the winter months the road to get to the trailhead is closed so it adds a few miles to the hike, but so worth it to soak to your hearts content!

Forest Road 065These are some of the best natural hot springs in Utah! Features multiple pools of different temperatures and a waterfall and the hike to get there is beautiful. During the winter months the road to get to the trailhead is closed so it adds a few miles to the hike, but so worth it to soak to your hearts content!
Take a sunset drive around Antelope island, watch in awe as the herds of bison move across the landscape, or catch a hike - there are many options for all different levels. Frary Peak is intense but offers spectacular views of Salt Lake City to the east and the Great Salt Lake to the west!

Beautiful place to kayak in the warmer months! Plus great hiking trails. The drive here from Ogden is very scenic, this is a great day trip destination.

Frontrunner, bus system, trollies and ski shuttles
There is great public transit in Utah to get you anywhere you need to go - check the RideUTA website for schedules.
The Frontrunner has stops all along the Wasatch Front to and from the airport (Ogden is the northern most stop). Local buses run from Ogden station. There are also shuttles that run to and from the ski resorts that pick up one block from the house. Uber and lift are commonly available!
