Places to shop, visit and outside of Lambertville
Stockton is a small hamlet 3 1/2 miles north of Lambertville. A great bike ride, a hike, or a journey up in your car! Head over the bridge into Centerbridge PA. Dilly's in the summer is ice cream, burgers, french fries, and a line with plenty of seating outside. I lived in Stockton for about a year and loved being close to the towpath. The deli has pretty good fried chicken, lottery tix, and snacks and sandwiches. In the mornings, you might find a gathering of locals discussing how to save the world. If you want to tube down to Lambertville from here, it is a great 2 hour ride to Lambertville on the River. There is a micro brewery, Odd Bird Brewery, many are raving about! A couple miles north along River Rd/29 is Federal Twist Winery with events and local music during the warmer months.

A ride on your bike up to Bulls Island and over the Bridge and you will see the Black Bass. I see this spot for special occaissons. Did you know that Julia Child was married in this sweet Village! The general Store offers a great lunch and breakfast menu and homemade pastries, cookies and such.

If you visit here on Christmas Day they re enact George Washington Crossing the Delaware River given the right conditions on the River. Great bike ride from Lambertville and walk your bikes over the Bridge and hit the Pennsylvania side.

Halloween
North Union st officially closes. official time is 6-8pm. Witches, ghouls and assorted goblins roam the streets. Literally reminds me of Mardi Gras. It is so much fun to experience the decorations and 🎃 🎃🎃
