Wear your costume under your hiking gear and enjoy the river at any time during your walk. The water is perfectly clean and refreshing. There's also a river beach that's worth the roughly 90 min walk. The terrain isn't easy to medium to walk. Take a light picnic and enjoy the diverse natural flora.

A lovely swimming beach. Keep to the far left or right of the beach as these are the saver swimming spots. The river/lagoon is great alternative to the sea and a wonderful place to take younger visitors and the water is clean as it doesn't flow through and informal settlements.

Pringle Bay is a quaint seaside village off the beaten track. It has 4 beaches with one being hidden and only really known to locals. So try and make the right friends! It's safe enough to go for long walks in the mountains and beaches but best not to do it alone unless someone is looking out. The coast does have it's fair amount of rogue poachers so stay aware of your surroundings. Please keep in mind that you're sharing the space with wild animals, insects and other creepy crawlies that live in the area and that they have the right of way. Please don't feed them! To ensure that light pollution is kept low to allow for the best stargazing no outside lights must be left on after 10pm. The area is also a high fire risk area so please keep an eye on your fires and make sure they are completely put out before going to bed. And the best part is that there are no malls and masses for miles!
