Neighbourhoods

Donnybrook is an inner suburb of Dublin, immediately south of the Grand Canal and only 15 minutes walk to the business district, 20 minutes to Grand Canal Dock (Google, Hubspot, Salesforce etc). It is mainly a residential neighbourhood with a small amount of commercial activity. There are a few restaurants, cafes, pubs and neighbourhood stores. These are all located along the main thoroughfare. Hebert Park is the main park in the area and has tennis courts (public use for a fee), lawn bowling (private club), croquet (private club), kids playgrounds, soccer pitches and exercise stations.

There are very few traditional style pubs left in the area and this is probably the best of the ones that remain. When it gets busy, people will take their pint out on to the street corner and you may find it difficult to know if it is one big group or several small groups merging their conversations.
