Food Scene
IF OPEN, YOU MUST GO HERE! An absolutely 5-star bakery, here in our own tiny city, just a short walk down Main St. from your room, on the east side. Open Wed. - Sat. 8am to 4pm and Sunday 8am - 12noon. Stuff sells out. Plan accordingly! No sitting area, but come back to the Angelwing Room to enjoy your treats.

It is an exotic wild animal preserve, exactly 2 minutes walk from the Angelwing Room, straight east up Riverside and you are there at the corner of Windy Hollow. Zebras will be staring at you.

It is a beautiful, rough, rocky location and the lighthouse is one of the tallest! You can walk the spiral stair to the glass-enclosed observation room at the top.
There is a museum and a shop.

Beautiful! There is a working pier. You can watch surfers. Walk or drive: go down Main Street (south) into downtown and take a RIGHT at Iversen Drive. Proceed 1 mile. Ample parking available.

Many of our beaches here are rocky; this one is a large sandy expanse-beautiful. Just be careful parking! The hill to the north creates a blind situation for oncoming (southbound) drivers.
