Things to Do

Island Adventure Co. has UTVs, E-bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards for rent right off the ferry. Island Adventure offers tours and many fine outdoor adventures for visitors. They also have a nice little grill if you're looking for a bite to eat.

Sightseeing

The farm museum has historic farm buildings from various parts of the Island and farm tools. On Wednesdays in the summer, there are family fun days with crafts and sometimes hayrides. The farm museum also has small livestock animals part of the year.

School House is a beautiful rock beach. Be careful; the lake gets deep quickly and may not be the best choice for kids or inexperienced swimmers. Please leave the rocks. They’re protected, and what makes the beach so unique, thanks!

If you’re looking to Island hop, Rock Island is an uninhabited state park one Island over from us! It’s a beautiful state park and would be a nice day-long adventure. Little Lake is right next to the Jacobsen Museum and People’s Park. There’s a nice little bridge to walk out on and view the lake. If you want to hike, there is an out and back 1.6-mile hike off of Main Road. This hike takes you around the North part of Little Lake to the West with a final spot with views of Lake Michigan to the West and Little Lake to the East.
