There's also a farm, bird garden and a new ferry that takes you across the lake. Currently there's an exhibition about the role the house played in the first world war when it became a hospital. Have a look to see if there's any outside events during your stay

The 7 bus runs between Leeds and Harrogate, through our village on a regular basis. To go further afield, get off at Wetherby bus station for routes to York, Otley, Wakefield, Tadcaster and Knaresborough
