The Town Square
All kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, art, and everything San Marcos is .4 miles away. Definitely a place to see if not already done so.
Tourist town whereas there are Mermaid statues all around San Marcos all the same sculpture but individually decorated with no two of a kind. It is my understanding that back in the 1970's people from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and all over Texas would come to see the glass bottom boats, the women dressed in mermaid attire with fin would swim under the boats. (cool fact i learned)

Best place to float tubes!
The people are amazing especially Cody. If you are using the tubes from float festival and anyone trying to take it, simply tell them Jimmer said get Cody. They will stop, Cody is married to the man that owns all it and the lands daughter. There is no one higher up and in time will be proudly be passed to Cody. I earned those while working Float Festival both years it happened. They were once taken from other guests and Cody returned them to me plus one. PROMISE
