A beautiful spot for view from the top! Napoleonic Fortress built on Brixham’s most famous outcrop. Another 30 minute drive from the apartment along the coast, but if coming by train there is a ferry service that will take you across…that way you might encounter the local dolphins or see the seals sunning it up on Brixham docks!

Mind the Hills!
Offering stunning scenery at the top, these Torquay hills can be tough on the legs! So we recommend using Torbay Taxis on 01803 211611 for all your transport needs. There is however an excellent bus service locally which is very regular and covers the whole of Torquay (it just takes a little longer!).

Hiking Boots
There are plenty of woodland hikes to enjoy in and around Torquay. Situated on the South West Coast Path, the scenery is stunning. Opposite The Nook of the Bay is Warberry Hill, which has magnificent sunsets (or sunrises if you’re an early bird!), with views stretching out to Dartmoor.
