Lefkada is an island, and its most famous beaches are quite a few minutes away from the city centre. Apart from the occasional buses, the only way to get around safely and comfortably is by car.
However, guests should not miss the chance to walk around the old town of Lefkada, and witness the true traditional beauty of the place, hidden in its picturesque alleys.
