This is our favourite little coffee shop only a minute walk from ours and where we head to every morning. Try the cappuccino and request (real) chocolate on top ♡ it's amazing! We also love their 'Spicy Maiden' (vege bagel w/ hot sauce) - it tastes like a healthy McDonalds!

Another favourite is 'Lomond' coffee shop in Deptford market yard. They roast their own coffee there and have a good selection of pastry's and cakes (and famous St John's donuts!) ♡

This is by far our favourite restaurant in London (yes, seriously!!). It's an amazing family run restaurant we've been going to for years, long before it got moved out of it's original location from rising rents. The fish is v fresh (from Billingsgate market), the vibe is super chilled & the service is amazing. It's not cheap but it's not extortionate and it's worth every penny.
We always get the same and couldn't recommend the following dished higher:

Plum wine or the traditional tea.
To eat:
Chuka Wakame Seaweed Salad
Avocado Dragon (You can't not get this. The best.)
Sushi selection (there's 3 x of these depending on how hungry you are. They are all amazing).

Really great Italian food (and my Sicilian sister thinks so too!) and they also do delivery (but be prepared to wait up to an hour). We love the pizza's best!

We love coming here on a Saturday afternoon to share a bottle of wine & a cheese board whilst playing cards or doing a soduku!!! Really great wine selection, heaters outside and often have a live jazz duo inside. (we've never eaten lunch or dinner here. Seems quite pricey!)

This is a favourite little bar of ours which serves amazing cocktails and rum punches but Gordan (owner) also serves really good Jamaican food. They also put on exhibitions and it's buzzy late in to the night. A great place to take a friend!

Now this really is a little local secret! This is a proper local's pub but probably one of the best pubs in London to sit in the corner and take in the surroundings. Often have live music (usually a rock band) but is seriously vibeing on a Friday or Saturday night.

We love Greenwich park and head down there on our morning runs, sunny days, Sunday morning strolls, Wednesday afternoon writing-blocks, Long long phone calls and when we want to feel really tiny & insignificant (in the best way ever) we stand by the clock at the very top and look over London. We really love this park and think it's underrated. From the rose gardens to the deer park and the entrance to Blackheath.

We love Greenwich park and head down there on our morning runs, sunny days, Sunday morning strolls, Wednesday afternoon writing-blocks, Long long phone calls and when we want to feel really tiny & insignificant (in the best way ever) we stand by the clock at the very top and look over London. We really love this park and think it's underrated. From the rose gardens to the deer park and the entrance to Blackheath.

Deptford Market is on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays and is one of the best local markets in London. The market traders are proper' local and have been doing the same markets for years (before, many of their fathers & grandfathers' were!).
Walk up the high St and turn right (towards the Albany Theatre) for our favourite bit. This part is more of a 'flea market' and may need some energy to sift through but you can find some real treasure here!
On the clothes stalls it's worth a gentle haggle if you have the guts. At the end stall (Pete's) I wouldn't go there! He doesn't like it and is pretty fair on his pricing anyway.

They do really great bread (particularly sourdough-ask to get it sliced) and a very healthy selection of food/condiments/soups however we think it is fiercely over priced for the area so therefore don't buy much from there (only bread and eggs which are more reasonable).
