Cartmel Village
Cartmel village is known for its racecourse and its 12th Century Cartmel Priory. The priory has beautiful stain glass windows, modern sculptures, and ancient choir stalls.
Cartmel village is a maze of lanes and bridges crossing over a small running river. You can walk over the fell from The Studio into Cartmel, or take a short drive of 3 miles into the village square.
