Party time

If you're looking for Après-ski drinks - this is the place to go. If you're going all in, try their ski shots. If you're still skiing down to Zermatt after some drink, please consider your skiing skills and do not risk hurting yourself or others.

What to stuff in your ski jacket?

There's always a moment skiing where you think "oh, I wish I had that in my pocket", so let's make sure your pockets are full of those things. • ski pass, it's not fun to have to walk back home to get it... • lip balm (SPF please!) to keep away from chapped kisses; • sunscreen (SPF50 please!), the sun is strong in high altitude, don't be a rudolf; • map of the pistes that you can find in the flat or at the tourism office. it's always practical to plan your ski routes; • tissues, so you don't have to wipe on your ski jacket; • Snacks, get some bars from coop or migros.
Metodi per risparmiare

Eating on the pistes is expensive

Take some snacks or food with you if you don't want to pay 20chf for some fries (ketchup and mayo not included 0.50 a packet)

How to ski in the sun all day?

Easy, follow the curve of the sun. Stay on the Matterhorn Paradise side in the morning (Schwarzsee, Trockenerstegg, Theodulpass). Move on over to the Gornergrat side around lunch time (Riffelberg, Riffelsee). Finish the day on the Rothorn side (Blauherd, Sunnegga).
Da non perdere

Best Winter views

My favourite Winter spots (that make for great instagram posts): • Klein Matterhorn panoramic platform (360° view of Valais and Valle d'Aosta); • Furgg go under the cabin platform and look up at the Matterhorn; • Classic Riffelberg and Riffelalp view; • Blauherd from the bar, sometimes paragliders will fly above your head; • FURI - SCHWARZSEE cable car, amazing view of the Grenz glacier; • Wait for those orange-pink-purple Winter sunsets in the city, the view down from the 22 summits hotel is particularly nice.
