This is a very cosy place in the nice Bakklandet part of Trondheim, and also a place where Silje used to work :) They have a relaxed atmosphere and often have live music. We recommend to go there for some beers and maybe some board games? Make sure you visit the "book bar" in the back, where they have a great selection of beers and a unique setting.

This is Eiriks favorite beer bar (he is a beer nerd). They have a great selection on tap and serve pizza. It's a small micro brewery in Trondheim that runs it called "Monkey brew". Probably the best brewery in Norway (Eiriks statement).

Maybe the best thai place in Trondheim. It used to be one of the cheapest places, until it was recommended in the local newspaper, but it is still a nice place and still fairly inexpensive for Norwegian price levels :)

Our favourite sushi place in town. Not the cheapest, but the quality is really up there.

This is definitely the place to go for a food experience in Trondheim. The price level is not really budget friendly, but you get excellent Norwegian ingredients served in unique and original ways and presentations you could probably come up with yourself.

This is the closest bus stop (it's very close to the apartment) and it has a lot of buses going past it, making it ideal to get to anywhere in the city.

Nidarosdomen is the most famous sight in Trondheim. It's a beautiful cathedral and a must see for fans of church architecture.
