How to go central Copenhagen by train
Train A for Hillerød will bring you to the central station (Hovedbanegården) in 12 minutes and to Nørreport (very central) in 15 minutes. On your return take train A for Hundige/Køge/Solrød. The train leaves every 12 minute in day time and every 20 minute in evenings and weekends. Buy your ticket with credit card at the ticket maschine at the station. You can either walk 800 m to the station, or go by car. If you go by car there is a large parking area behind the station. Free parking.

Local restaurants and take aways. This is suburbia land. Dont expect restaurant kitchens to be open at 21. People usually dine 18 or 19.

Walk through Vigerslevparken, pass the traffic lights at Gammel Køge Landevej (at Netto), and walk along the street till you pass an area of small summerhouses, and then you go to the seafront, turn left and you will come to Valby Strandpark (Beach Park).

Want a swim. ? Kystagerparken has a small beach. Water is very low. I would prefer to walk further to the habour and take a swim from there (end of the pier there is a ladder for the swimmers).

At the end of Risbjerggårds Alle, 300 meters from here, you enter the Vigerslev Parken. Walk to the right, pass Gl.Køge Landevej, and you will get to the coast. Walk to the left and you will be able to walk for a very long distance. After 1 km there is a bridge crossing the highway and after the bridge, the park continues. Gå langs stierne og lad dig ikke stoppe af broen over motorvejen - parken fortsætter efter broen og helt op til Roskildevej, derefter kan du gå over til Damhussøen, hvis du brænder for en rigtig, rigtig lang gåtur.

Can I go by car to central Copenhagen?
Yes you can. There are several parking houses in central Copenhagen. I seldom go by car: 1. It is expensive to park. 2. You often face traffic jams. 3. No alcohol. 4. It is faster to reach central Copenhagen by train.
