Sightseeing
Go through the little town of Glen Haven, take a left at the old cannery/boat museum, stop at the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station for a parking permit, and continue to the parking lot at the end of the road. It's a short hike to the water, and a nice loop along the shore and back up through the dunes brings you back to the parking lot.
