Public transportation includes train, metro, bus and even ferries in copenhagen harbour. Same ticket system for all. Tickets can be bought at ticket stands or 7-eleven or other kiosks near stations. In busses you can pay with cash (no larger than 100 kr). You may also attach some credit cards to the DOT (Den Offentlige Transport) app, and pay online.

Eating out in Denmark is more expensive than average. Here are some advice for restaurant (chains) that serve good food at reasonable rates: Bones (cozy inside), dallevalle (large buffet), cafe-a (large buffet), McDonalds (nearby, 15 mins nice walk), Bones, Dallevalle and Cafe-A are all found in a mall nearby Herlev Station (one stop from our station). If you are not on a tight budget and like beef, then restaurant Flammen is worth a visit. Generally restaurants charge a lot for drinking, so beware of that. Otherwise, buy groceries and cook in our kitchen :)

Beware, -parking at our house is free, but before you notice, you may have received a parking fee (around 100 Euro). you have to pay at very many places in the city center or mall's etc - take note on the signboards at the place where you park. Parking in City center is free though from Saturday 5pm, until sunday evening (2022). You may use the app "Easypark" in most places to pay for your parking (attach it with your credit card).
