Koh Poda is popular for its white sandy beaches and turquoise water; the huge rock in front of has been featured on tourist brochures and postcard, so don’t miss the chance to snap your own photo memory here and post in your IG. Heading to Koh Poda takes 10-15 minutes by long tail boat from Aonang. Buy the long tail boat ticket at “Aonang Long tail boat service club” in the corner of the main street.

West Railay, where you will find most of the resorts offering high quality accommodation and upscale properties such as Railay Village / Sand Sea Resort and Railay Bay. Their reception areas, restaurants are situated right next to the sand. This beach is beautiful, but probably can get a bit noisy in the day time from long tail boats from Aonang. East Railay. In fact, there is no beach as much of the water is lined with mangrove trees. It is used as the back door of Railay where all the goods delivery point for all of the hotels, as well as the pier for taxi boats to and from Ao Nam Mao and Krabi tow. It is easier to walk from Railay East to Phranang cave beach.
